“When life is about stories, we develop empathy”
Since March, the GeriActors & Friends have been rehearsing virtually – laughing, sharing stories, developing new plays – all of it happening over Zoom.
While it has been, and continues to be, a strange and difficult year we are thankful to be able to connect each week. While rehearsing online has its challenges – internet connections, time lags, frozen videos – we have found new ways of sharing our stories.
This spring we are performing our *NEW* Audio Plays on Zoom and over the telephone. Listen to our stories of WWII, farm life in Alberta, growing up in Trinidad and more.
- Zoom Performances: With accompanying music, video and photos our plays will be brought to life on your screen. Tickets are pay-what-you-can and can be purchased here.
- Book a (virtual) performance: We will perform for your staff, residents or members. Performances are held live over Zoom between May 10 to June 13 and are pay-what-you-can.
