GeriActors is an intergenerational theatre company based in Amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton) that unites seniors and younger generations through theatre. Ranging in age from early twenties to nineties, we produce original plays based on true stories and issues of aging and perform for audiences of all ages at seniors’ residences and centres, libraries, schools, community events, and more. Every May we host public performances and tour to local organizations to share our stories. We strive to ensure our performances remain accessible to everyone regardless of financial circumstances.
Sponsorship funds will go towards:
- Bringing our plays to local organizations, which often have limited budgets for entertainment.
- Supplementing ticket prices at our public performances, allowing us to offer pay-what-you-can tickets.
- Supporting a local theatre company (us!) to continue sharing stories and reaching audiences throughout Greater Edmonton.
